    Information Management and Technology

    Critically examines the application of state-of-the-art IM&T principles and methods in the public and private sectors and the degree to which they apply to Canadian health care organizations. Provides students with a background in health information management and information technology (IT) strategy from a private and public sector organizational perspective. Students identify strategies and approaches to ensuring managers, clinicians, patients and the public receive information at the right time in a cost-effective manner.
