Finite Element Method
The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concepts and methods in computational mechanics and numerical analysis of engineering structures. It will enable students to set-up numerical models for linear elastic problems in the field of civil and mechanical engineering. It is recommended for senior level engineering students that are interested in advanced structural analysis using commercial finite element packages.
